Arize brings its Alyx agent to Google Cloud Marketplace

Arize has made Alyx, its AI engineering agent, available on Google Cloud Marketplace for use inside Gemini Enterprise. Users can ask about agent performance in plain language and receive trace-backed diagnoses without leaving that environment.

Alyx is the AI engineering agent built into Arize AX. With the Gemini Enterprise version, teams can ask questions such as how a customer support agent is doing that week. Alyx searches traces in Arize, groups related failures and returns a diagnosis backed by the underlying spans and tool calls, displayed as structured, interactive components in the Gemini Enterprise chat.

Alyx connects to Gemini Enterprise through the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol, and the listing implements A2UI for rich UI components. Authentication uses OAuth, so Alyx only shows Arize spaces the signed-in user is already authorized to see. The Gemini Enterprise agent is available at no additional cost to Arize AX customers.

This first release covers investigation only. Remediation steps such as editing prompts, running experiments and updating evaluators remain in Arize AX, and Arize says it is building a deeper integration so those actions can also happen inside Gemini Enterprise.

Why it matters if you build agents

Teams running agents on Google Cloud can let product, support and compliance staff check agent quality through Gemini Enterprise without giving them edit access in Arize AX.

Remediation is not yet possible from Gemini Enterprise, so developers still need Arize AX to change prompts, run experiments or update evaluators.
