The release adds browserTool() under agents/browser/pi, which lets an agent create and control a persistent browser session. It also adds a web_fetch tool under agents/webfetch that reads a URL and returns Markdown, JSON or text, with HTML, PDF and Office documents converted through Worker AI.
Cloudflare has also made agents/lifecycle stable, along with the Scheduler, State, WebSockets and MCPClientManager capabilities. ThinkHarness now keeps its sessions and operations in the shared agents/harness/store, and migrations run on first start.
The changelog links to guides for the persistent browser, lifecycle and web fetch features.
Why it matters if you build agents
Agent developers can add a persistent browser session or fetch and convert web pages without writing those tools themselves.
The scheduler, state, WebSockets and MCP client capabilities are now marked stable, so they are safer to depend on in production.
If you use ThinkHarness, check that your existing sessions migrate correctly on first run after upgrading.
