Cloudflare has released version 0.23.0 of its @cloudflare/think package, and the changelog lists breaking changes to how agent skills are loaded. Developers who use the skillWorkspace option or the "skill" context block type will need to update their code.

The release, published on 29 October, is tagged as a minor version but includes breaking changes. Think now reloads getSkills() sources on every turn, so skills written to /workspace/.agents/skills are picked up when a workspace is passed through skills.workspace(this.workspace).

The changelog also changes how prompts are assembled. An overridden getSystemPrompt() now always renders above context blocks, where previously it could be dropped once any block existed. Skill catalog changes now reach the model as a context reminder instead of rebuilding the cached system prompt.

Version 0.23.0 removes the skillWorkspace option and the extension "skill" context block type. The changelog links to its Agent Skills documentation for the full details.

## Why it matters if you build agents

Agents that rely on skillWorkspace or the "skill" context block will need to move to skills.workspace() before they behave as expected. Projects that override getSystemPrompt() should check where their prompt now appears relative to context blocks.

Skill updates no longer invalidate the cached system prompt, which can reduce rebuild work for agents that change their skill set often.
