E2B Python SDK 2.60.0 changes control-plane retry behavior

E2B has released version 2.60.0 of its Python SDK, changing how control-plane API errors are retried. The release also fixes how omitted public-traffic and network options are handled during sandbox creation.

The minor change in @e2b/python-sdk 2.60.0 retries control-plane API errors marked Should-Retry: true, along with 429, 502, 503 and 504 responses that lack that header, such as those from a load balancer. Responses marked Should-Retry: false are never retried. The release also removes the method and replayable-operation retry allowlists.

Post-send network errors are no longer retried, although connection failures still are. A request that fails after it has been sent will therefore not be repeated automatically under this version.

A patch change preserves omitted public-traffic options during Python sandbox creation so the server applies its default. Null network responses are now normalized to omitted values in both Python and JavaScript, while explicit true and false values are unchanged.

Why it matters if you build agents

Agent code that depends on automatic retries for requests that already reached the control plane will need to handle those failures itself after upgrading. Code that omits public-traffic options will now get the server's default rather than a value set by the SDK. Explicit true and false values behave as they did before.
