The GitHub Copilot app connects agents and tools across projects and covers specs, design discussions and telemetry analysis as well as code. Copilot projects run agent work across multiple repositories in managed, parallel sessions, with one place to track progress. Session continuity lets a cloud agent session be started and followed from the GitHub app, VS Code, the CLI and the web.
Copilot Fusion selects how to run a task across one or more models. GitHub says its Fusion Max scored within two points of Opus 5.5 Max on the Artificial Analysis Coding Agent Index, at half the cost and 40% less time per task. Copilot automations can now propose improvements based on their results for review, and the new Copilot code review Max offers a deeper review option.
Starting today, GitHub Enterprise customers can use all Copilot features, including the Copilot app, code review and automations, without buying a separate subscription. The offer is available through GitHub Sales now, with self-serve coming later. GitHub also reported adding 4 million CPU cores, 160 PB of high-speed storage and 50 Tb/s of network capacity this year, and plans to finish a multi-region Azure migration early next year.

Teams building agents on GitHub can now coordinate multi-repo agent work and automations from one place, and the review and automation features are bundled into Enterprise billing. Cost tracking shifts toward AI credit consumption, so teams should measure credit use before deciding whether to keep their current Copilot Business or Enterprise plans.
