The release lets teams filter gateway analytics by user and API key, and shows when each gateway key was last used. A new AI_GATEWAY organization membership role lets admins invite gateway team members without broader access. Gateway requests are now always recorded on Langfuse Cloud, and a HIPAA notice appears when provider credentials are added or edited.
For MCP users, the release exposes bundled Langfuse skills through the MCP server. Skill management is now enabled by default, and skills can be versioned through automations. The changelog also mentions HTTP/2 for requests to the web service and one immediate retry on resolve.
Among the fixes, MCP errors are now returned as isError tool results. Gateway keys whose owner can no longer invoke the gateway are rejected, and Prisma reads retry on transient Postgres connection errors outside transactions.
Why it matters if you build agents
Agent code that calls the Langfuse MCP server should check the isError flag on tool results, since failures are now reported that way. Teams that expose skills through MCP can now pick up the bundled Langfuse skills without adding them separately.
Gateway keys tied to a user stop working once that user loses permission to use the gateway, so check key owners if access is removed.
