Make, the AI automation platform owned by Celonis, has released a Supabase integration that lets its scenarios and AI agents work with Supabase projects. The integration covers querying databases, reading logs, deploying Edge Functions and managing projects as workflow steps.

The integration connects a Supabase account to Make so that scenarios can use pre-built Supabase modules or call the Supabase MCP server through the MCP Client app. Scenario builders can run a fixed step, such as querying weekly signups on a schedule, or let a Make AI Agent route tasks like sending log errors to an issue tracker.

Supabase appears inside a scenario like any other connected app, so people outside the engineering team can work with live data without exports. Make records every scenario run and agent tool call, giving both teams a history of database actions. Each tool on the Supabase MCP server is labelled read-only or destructive before a scenario runs.

To connect, users need a Make account and a Supabase project. They add the MCP Client app, choose the Call a tool module or add it as an agent tool, create a connection to Supabase, and approve access. The integration is included on every Make plan.

## Why it matters if you build agents

Agent builders can give Make scenarios and AI agents structured access to a Supabase project through the MCP server without writing a custom connector. Teams can also drop the nightly export that used to move data between systems.

Because each MCP tool is marked read-only or destructive, developers can check which tools an agent is allowed to call that could change data. Scenario run history also gives a record of agent database actions for review.
