Nvidia has backed Simplismart, a Bengaluru-based AI inference software startup, in a $14 million Series B round. The software tailors how AI models run on existing GPU infrastructure to balance speed, cost and performance.

Nvidia participated in Simplismart's $14 million all-primary Series B, alongside Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax, with Dallas Venture Capital leading. The round values the four-year-old startup at about $100 million including the new funding.

Simplismart's software sits between AI models and the computing infrastructure they run on, adjusting deployment to meet customer targets for response time, request throughput and compute use. Customers can run it on Simplismart's platform or inside their own cloud or on-premises setups, and cloud providers can use it to build inference services. The company says it helped InVideo cut its GPU serving costs by 56%.

Simplismart says its annualized revenue run rate grew 14-fold over six months to an eight-figure sum, though it did not disclose an exact figure, and more than half its revenue comes from the U.S. Nvidia is also working with the startup on technical integrations, including its Dynamo inference software. The round follows a report that Simplismart was in talks to raise $40 million to $50 million, which the CEO declined to comment on.

## Why it matters if you build agents

Teams running models on fixed GPU capacity now have another option for tuning latency and cost without building serving configurations by hand. Anyone building agents that depend on inference should compare tools like this against their own latency and cost targets, since Simplismart competes with Nvidia, major clouds and other startups. Its revenue and cost-saving figures are company claims that the article does not independently verify.
