opencode v1.19.1 discontinues session sharing

The opencode v1.19.1 release discontinues session sharing, so existing share links and session-sharing commands no longer work. Importing sessions from share URLs is also unsupported in this version.

The opencode project published v1.19.1 on its GitHub releases page, marked as the latest release. Its release notes list a single item under a Core bug fixes heading, and that item is the removal of session sharing.

According to the notes, existing share links and session-sharing commands are no longer available. Importing sessions from share URLs is unsupported as well, so earlier shared sessions cannot be brought back in through that route. The notes do not describe a replacement feature or a migration path.

The release has 40 assets attached. Anyone who relied on sharing sessions with others or linking to past runs will need another way to pass that context along.

Why it matters if you build agents

If your agent tooling, docs or scripts call opencode's session-sharing commands or link to share URLs, those paths will stop working on v1.19.1. Remove or replace them before upgrading. Do not plan on importing older shared sessions from their URLs.
