The release expands agent profiles. Profiles can now choose skills from the server catalog, have their condenser and verification settings edited, and be assigned a Model Router. Launching a profile by its id now uses the settings the profile owns.
Other features include full organization names in the backend selector, an option to dismiss the recommended automations rail from Home and Application settings, and public skills read from the bundled extensions package. Bug fixes cover saving a connected repository on cloud conversations, keeping the first Cloud message when history lags behind the runtime, and pinning uvx to Python 3.12 through 3.14 until dependencies ship 3.15 wheels.
The desktop app is not yet signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS may label a downloaded build as damaged. The changelog says this comes from Gatekeeper quarantine, and that users can run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine on the app after moving it to Applications. Signing and notarization is tracked in issue #16774.
Why it matters if you build agents
Developers building on OpenHands profiles can now set skills, condenser, verification and model routing per profile rather than sharing one configuration across tasks. Teams distributing the macOS build should expect the Gatekeeper warning until signing and notarization are in place.
