The release stores pinned automations from the home screen in agent-server settings. The MCP install dialog can now let users choose between installable library options. The automation picker lists repositories from every cloneable provider, and Canvas quiets backend logs by default.
Maintenance work bumps @openhands/extensions to 0.35.0, agent-server to 1.58.1 and the automation package to 1.25.1. A new dependency policy enforces a seven-day release-age window for third-party packages.
The macOS app is not yet signed with an Apple Developer ID, so Gatekeeper may flag a downloaded build as damaged. After moving the app to Applications, users can clear the quarantine flag once with xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine on the app bundle. Signing and notarization are tracked in #16774.
Why it matters if you build agents
Developers who run OpenHands on macOS should expect quarantine warnings until signing and notarization ship, and the xattr command clears them for a given install. Teams that pin agent-server or extensions versions should note the new releases. The seven-day third-party release-age policy means newly published dependencies will not be pulled in immediately.
