The company says the bundle is meant to attract more subscribers than any one of its paid products could on its own, in a paid AI market where it competes with OpenAI, Anthropic and others. Subscribers get Grok for chat with voice, image and video support, plus access to the Grok API, Grok's agentic bot, and Cursor for AI coding.
The plans are free, Plus at $8 per month, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200. The free tier offers only limited chat and agent usage, and the latest Grok models require Premium or higher.
Existing X Premium+ subscribers can switch to the new bundle, and SpaceXSI says the comparable plan costs the same or less. Users can also keep their current plan. The upgrade option is rolling out gradually, so customers will need to check their billing settings to see whether it is available to them.
Why it matters if you build agents
Developers who use Grok or Cursor through consumer plans now have a single subscription that covers both, and the API access is included in the bundle as described. Anyone relying on the latest Grok models should note that the free tier does not include them. Because the upgrade rolls out gradually, teams should confirm their billing status before changing plans.
