Starkomand is a Mac app for running several AI coding agents at once on a single infinite canvas. It supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and any CLI agent. According to its maker, it was built after running agents in separate terminal tabs led to lost track of work, overwritten files and hitting usage limits mid-task.
Agents can hand work to one another with context carried over, and one agent can message another directly, even across providers. Auto model routing picks a model for each step and explains its choice, and usage meters show how much each plan has left and when it resets. Shared memory lets a new agent pick up what earlier agents learned.
Canvas widgets list running dev servers, flag leaked ones and stop the ones left behind, and show GitHub pull requests with their status. GitHub issues can be pulled onto the canvas as sticky notes and dropped onto an agent to start work. Agents keep running after the app is closed or the laptop lid is shut, and voice commands are supported. The maker says there is no account, no extra API keys, and data stays on the Mac by default.
Why it matters if you build agents
Developers running multiple coding agents can manage them in one workspace and move a task to another provider when one plan nears its limit. Because it uses existing subscriptions rather than API keys, agent usage stays tied to plans you already hold. Before letting agents share memory or message each other across providers, check how those features handle code and data you do not want shared.
