The three models are minimax/h3-highspeed, minimax/h3-lite and minimax/h3. A 10-second clip at 768P costs $0.60 on Highspeed, $0.40 on Lite and $0.80 on H3, according to prices on the model pages dated October 31, 2026. Highspeed outputs only 768P and keeps the full set of reference inputs, while Lite is the cheapest option at $0.04 per second at 768P and $0.025 at 480P.
H3 is the only one of the three that outputs 2K, and its resolution defaults to 2K. At 2K, a 10-second H3 clip costs $1.30. The guide shows H3 animating still images with a first-frame input, with each 5-second 2K clip priced at $0.65, and says its runs took between about two and a half and four and a half minutes.
All three accept clips from 4 to 15 seconds, text-to-video, image-to-video from a first and optional last frame, and reference images, videos or audio. The guide suggests setting the resolution explicitly when comparing models, since H3 defaults to 2K and Lite defaults to 768P.
Why it matters if you build agents
Developers generating many candidate clips can cut costs by using Lite for drafts and Highspeed for iteration, then switching to H3 only for final 2K delivery.
Because H3 defaults to 2K, a script that omits the resolution field will cost more than expected, so set it explicitly.
Lite may drop objects or characters in fiddly edits, so check outputs carefully before relying on a cheaper model.
