Version 1.15.34 of the crewAI framework was published on GitHub on 1 November by maintainer joaomdmoura. The release adds a standalone LiteLLM catalog and a crewai skill search command that lists an organization's skills. It also lets crewai run pass --inputs to a Python flow, and adds a --zip option to deploy create that prints the commit the archive is built from.
On the fix side, crewai create no longer offers Gemini models that have been shut down, and OpenAI-compatible providers now raise MissingAPIKeyError when a key is missing or is a placeholder. An empty LLM answer is retried once before a typed error is raised. Token usage is now reported for LiteLLM tool-call and structured-output calls.
The changelog also lists a documentation entry on agent planning with planningconfig and documents the removal of the 1.15.29 agent executor under breaking changes, with migration notes. Several contributors are credited, including dependabot.
Why it matters if you build agents
Developers who run agents through the crewAI CLI can now pass inputs into Python flows and record which commit a deploy zip was built from. Anyone still relying on the 1.15.29 agent executor should read the migration notes before upgrading.
