The main new feature in datasette-agent 0.5a0 is called the panel. It lets the agent chat open next to pages from Datasette, such as a table or a query page.
Willison says that when the panel is combined with datasette-apps, a user can prompt a database-backed app into existence and then change it from the chat beside that app.
The release can be tried at agent.datasette.io, where users sign in with a GitHub account.
