Topics summaries, assignments and rules are now available through the public API and the MCP server, as well as the in-app agent. The Topics page itself was reworked to load from counts and a paged trace list, and several Topics requests were fixed to start together.
Audit logs now record read-access events for trace, session and score reads through tRPC, and they also log exports and downloads as access events. The release adds a chronological session list view and a session tab in the trace peek view.
Self-hosted users get the AI gateway in the default Docker Compose file. Sign-up email codes now last 10 minutes and show a clear expired step, and the release includes many smaller fixes across the web app, ingestion and exports.
Why it matters if you build agents
If you call Langfuse through MCP or the public API, Topics data is now reachable from those interfaces and not only from the dashboard. Teams that review access history should expect trace, session and score reads to appear in audit logs.
Self-hosted deployments can start the AI gateway from the standard Compose file rather than adding it separately. Anything that depends on the old sign-up code lifetime should be checked against the new 10-minute window.
